The programme suits people who want to own and actively run a neighbourhood convenience store, rather than hold it as a passive investment. Applicants are typically one of the following:
First-Time Store Owners
Ready to work in the business daily and looking for an established brand, supplier relationships and setup support.
Experienced Retailers
Already operating a convenience store, gas station or grocery business and considering converting or adding another location.
Multi-Site Operators
Operators with the staff, systems and management capacity to open and manage more than one store over time.
Minimum Financial Qualifications
We do not publish a fixed figure here because the total investment depends heavily on the province, size of the site, whether it is a new build or an existing store, and whether the premises are leased or owned.
Before applying, you should be able to demonstrate the following:
- Unencumbered funds you can commit to the business, with proof of where they came from.
- Access to financing or a lender discussion already under way if you plan to borrow part of the investment.
- Working capital to cover opening inventory, staff wages, rent and utilities during the early months.
- A clear personal financial position, with existing obligations disclosed honestly.
On the introductory call, we can discuss the realistic investment range for the specific province and site type you are interested in so you can decide whether to continue.

Site & Agreement
Where everything lines up, the process moves toward a specific location and formal written agreement.
Expected Response Time
Enquiries are reviewed in the order received during regular business days. Most applicants hear back within a few business days, and a first call is normally arranged within about two weeks where there is a potential fit.
Applications for provinces where we are not currently expanding may take longer. If that is the case, we will let you know rather than leave you waiting.
